Wood of the Alpine larch (Fr: Mélèze) tree has natural weather resistance properties allowing the wood to be used in harch Alpine conditions without additional treatments. For this reason it has always been the most valuable facade material for the construction of Alpine chalets. When protected from the rain it will age nicely to evolve to a deep red color. We couldn't think of a better material for our exclusive birds feeding house. To assure an excellent lifetime, we used stainless steel for the roof, providing unseen protection, keeping the birds food dry and protected from the wind. The roof design allows for a rock solid attachment of our feeding house both by metal wire or a hook screw.
